Cable Screening
Coreshield design, manufacture and install certificated bespoke cable screening systems for all situations. The most popular is our lightweight high permeability system suitable for most applications, typically from 900mm wide ladder racks to smaller cable trays. Trunking can be fire rated by over cladding in Durasteel.
Coreshield lightweight, high performance screened cable trunking is designed to encapsulate existing services, containing stray EMF to a specified level of mitigation.
For situations where access is restricted and traditional screened trunking is not practical, we offer a high-performance flexible material.
Project example – Imperial College London
Lightweight high permeability trunking was installed in the new research and innovation facility for Imperial College London on their White City campus. This bespoke cable trunking was designed to follow the complex path of the HV distribution from ground level to 10.5m above the auditorium and through the centre of the building.
The encapsulated 900mm wide ladder rack included five Rigiduct sections to facilitate the post installation pulling through of the HV cables. The trunking was completed by cladding with Durasteel for fire protection.
